Completing a Charge Transport Chain for Artificial Photosynthesis
Oxidative equvalents are transiently stored on a triarylamine following photoexcitation of a ruthenium polypyridyl chromophore and electron injection to a TiO2 electrode. Electron injection is rate limiting with k = 1010 s-1 followed by rapid electron transfer from the pendant triarylamine to Ru(III).
